Sound Bath

Welcome profound relaxation as you allow yourself to completely release, bathed in a wash of vibration!!

Join Michael Murphy for a healing workshop which utilizes sound as a tool for wellness. Michael brings many different instruments to produce an intense release as body, mind and spirit are encompassed in a sound bath of vibration and frequency. This shift in brainwaves can alter one's consciousness, inviting deep states of meditation. 

Let go of stress and plan to leave in a state of bliss!

$30 fee - no experience necessary. Please dress in comfortable clothing.

How Yoga Works: An exploration through narrative and vinyasa

Join Karen Ring to embark on a journey of exploration as we delve into the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali through narrative and slow flow yoga.

 

Read, process and share the gifts offered in the novel, "How Yoga Works" (written by Geshe Michael Roache and Christine McNally) and increase your understanding of how these simple techniques can prove powerful in strengthening mind, body and spirit.

 

This group formally meets twice:

 

Saturday Feb 1st from 1-3 pm to introduce the novel and get started, &

Saturday Feb 29th from 1-3 pm for a book discussion and closing circle.

 

Optional informal and experiential meetings occur during each Wednesday 7:15 pm Slow Flow Yoga classes throughout the month of February. Join us as Karen weaves the lessons of the Yoga Sutras into the physical experience of vinyasa yoga.

 

All workshop meetings are NO CHARGE (yes - you read that correctly - they are FREE,) however participants must provide their own copy of the novel (readily available at Barnes & Noble or Amazon.)

Roll with It: Ball Self-Massage - Lower Body, Back & Belly

Ball Rolling is a simple way to release restriction within muscles, bones and joints and invite the body back into balance. Join Betsy for a series of Friday workshops and begin again to both breathe and move with ease.

 

This workshop series teaches self-massage techniques and is appropriate for anyone who wants to:

  • Manage and reduce tension and stress from shoulders, head, neck, chest, belly, legs and back

  • Find instant relief from chronic pain

  • Improve mobility

  • Prevent injury

  • Reduce symptoms of plantar fasciaitis, TMJ, fibromyalgia, PMS, carpal tunnel syndrome and more

Reiki & Restorative

Join Geno Calvo Rey for a unique healing workshop where students will hold traditional Restorative Yoga poses while receiving Reiki Therapy.

 

Restorative Yoga helps to relieve the effects of stress by allowing the central nervous system to calm, since the body is fully supported by the use of props (bolsters, blankets, blocks,etc.,) stimulating deep relaxation while restoring and renewing mind, body, and spirit. To deepen your experience of healing and relaxation, Reiki Therapy is incorporated into this workshop. This an ancient form of universal energetic healing invites a state of balance, harmony and self-healing, enabling you to access your innate healing energies and avoid distress or disease while reaching states of deep relaxation. Combined with Restorative Yoga, Reiki Therapy works on all levels of the body's physical, emotional and spiritual elements, to help reduce stress, anxiety and other ailments.
